Modern armchair to rest made by hand with the technique known as "Xocbichuy" which is counted thread or cross stitch. This artisanal technique was applied by a group of artisan women from the municipality of Mayapán, in the state of Yucatán.
The technique consists of drawing the motifs on a grid called "canevá", basting on the canvas and applying the embroidery technique, to later carefully unravel the canevá, until it is completely removed from the canvas.
