The Owl Mask, made of zompantle wood and hand-decorated by skilled artisans from San Martín Tilcajete, Oaxaca, is an example of the artisanal excellence of the Casa Cruz family workshop. Founded by "the initiator", this workshop is distinguished by its meticulous carving process, creating unique and special designs by removing excess wood. These pieces, which represent the tradition of the nahuals of each person, where depending on the day and year you were born, there is a special animal that will protect you until the day you die. They function as decorative objects and are part of a series of collectible animals.
