The Tzutzben dress is woven on a waist loom by artisans from this community, belonging to San Andrés Larráinzar in the state of Chiapas. In their weaving technique they have arranged lines of contrasting colors to make a unique design. The women weavers also made the joints, finishes and details entirely by hand. It has some brocade details in a discontinuous way to give the piece more subtlety.
It should be washed by hand with soap and water and with the piece turned upside down.
