Taking up the successful silhouette incorporated into the Ensamble Artesano collection in 2020, in 2022 the Xinaxtli Tunic is updated through collaboration with the illustrator Alejandra García y Gutiérrez. Inspired by an illustration made exclusively for Ensamble Artesano, in this collaboration the essence of Alejandra becomes evident: “I left because of my already obsession with architectural forms; I started from this and arrived at the columns that are already a bit of an icon of my geometric work and I took it to the "balusters"” This piece is cool to use for any occasion and the embroidery highlights the mastery and symmetry of the work of the artisans. The column tunic is available in two colors, black and white.

ABOUT THE PARTNER ORGANIZATION

Fundación León XIII

Fundación León XII IAP (FLXIII) is a Private Assistance Institution established in 1996 as a response to the conditions of marginalization and exclusion of communities in Chiapas, Oaxaca and Guerrero.

We are present in more than 300 rural, indigenous and Afro-mestizo communities of less than 3,000 inhabitants, without social security, with an educational gap and with limited access to food, basic housing services and health services.

The FLXIII Model has as its center the economic, social and spiritual development of each of the people with whom we work. We base our intervention on the formation of Savings Groups, and from them we carry out spaces for the meeting and structuring of families and communities, with whom we carry out the following programs:
