San Andres Larrainzar, Chiapas

Rug woven on a waist loom by artisans from the Oventik community that belongs to San Andrés Larráinzar in the state of Chiapas. In their weaving technique they have embodied iconography charged with their worldview, which is why it is a unique piece. The women weavers also made the joints, finishes and details completely by hand.
