This rug was woven in cotton on a backstrap loom by artisans from the Oventik community in San Andrés Larráinzar in the state of Chiapas.
Its gray colors with bright earth and purple with white lines give it a visual delight, while its iconography in the shape of a rhombus with spirals reveals the image of the universe, the square in the center where everything begins and the spirals represent the direction the universe takes. life on earth, aligned to the cardinal points.
