Zamá fl stool

Piece made with the traditional sewn henequen technique, with fibers that are sewn together in a circular manner to form a firm material; worked by artisans in workshops in Xcanchakan and Santa Rosa de Lima, Yucatán. This stool decorated with straps of the same material is intended to build a bridge between contemporary life and this artisanal practice characteristic of the Yucatan Peninsula. The wood carving workshop of November 20, Campeche also participates in this piece of furniture; finishing the piece with spherical legs made of wood endemic to the region.
