The braiding technique in Guerrero is more than 30 years old, in Tlapehuala the finest braid is made. The making of this fine braid is based on spirals with pieces in the machine that make it the finest and most moldable fabric in the area. Its outstanding piece is the warm hat, at Zaavia we resignified the hat applied to different pieces, in this case they are 40 cm diameter flat tablecloths. It has cowhide applications (bellows, interior, removable handle) made by CDMX leather workers. It has a 14 cm diameter Huanacaxtle tropical wood handle and embroidered with polyester thread on the palm. The interior has 30% leather and 70% cotton gabardine.
