This ancient technique, developed by the Mayan culture in the Western mountains of Guatemala, is masterfully combined with topstitch embroidery made by hand by expert artisans from the Yucatecan communities, such as Santa Rosa, Tixcacaltuyub and San Antonio Chum. Primarily intended for table decoration, this set provides a unique connection to the region's rich cultural tradition.
