Set of Selva vases are the expression of two specialty elements of the expert Agua y Monte wood carving group. This Nahua group of fine wood carving is originally from the municipality of Pajapan, in the state of Veracruz. They represent the great colossi of southern Veracruzano: the San Martín Volcano and the Santa Martha hill.
Through the responsible use of timber resources from the Tuxtlas biosphere reserve area and through a reforestation program of the San Martín volcano, they have managed to generate a decorative and utilitarian piece that symbolizes a small part responsibly rescued from the jungles. tropical Veracruz. These pieces are carved from cocuite wood, whose tree is recognized for its survival and adaptation. They are polished solely and exclusively with beeswax, free of varnishes and industrial dyes.
