Vertical southern landscape, is the aesthetic and abstract representation of the hills and plains, in which the infinite domination of the orographic landscape is visualized and evoked horizontally and mirrored, represented by the guardians made of stone from the southern zone of Veracruz: the San Martín volcano and the Santa Martha hill. Vertical southern landscape, is a decorative collection piece made with wicker (Philodendron mutusay) harvested in the few wetlands and humid lowlands that still remain in the south of Veracruz, which the artisan Bruno Martínez Martínez makes use of to accurately and carefully weave each piece from his home/workshop in the municipality of Zaragoza, Veracruz; This piece is made with roots 20 to 30 meters long, free of metal structures and reinforcements, in which the elasticity of the material is used to generate a unique handmade piece that is 100% organic in size and shape.
