The Pinahuista Apron, embroidered with the cotton pepenado technique, has been worked in the community of Pinahusita in the Northeastern Sierra of Puebla by a community of indigenous women who inherited the tradition of embroidery, speakers of Nahuatl, and learned Spanish by imposition. Despite the strength of their traditions, these women have learned to make modern and innovative products, with unmatched quality. They embroider different shapes and sizes, they have also dared to work with other materials that did not exist for them. A very well organized group to produce in volume, without losing the quality of their work. This apron is the perfect excuse to support this group of artisan, entrepreneurial and talented women.
