The two-eared cylinder vase is a carefully hand-modelled work, using an ancient technique known as "majada", which involves open burning using cow dung. This ancient technique gives the piece a unique character, with traces of the burning visible in the darkest parts of the vase. The creation of large-format pieces represents a challenge for artisans, but in these pots, this challenge is achieved with precision and mastery.
