The Sunset Canvas is a unique collection piece that uses a technique native to the Yucatan Peninsula to create a decorative canvas that brings ancestral materials and techniques to contemporary life. Using four hand-jointed stretches, we achieved a color gradient effect for this piece that takes the Mayan loom technique from the utilitarian to the contemplative.
