Chilapa, Guerrero
The braiding technique in Guerrero dates back more than 30 years, in Tlapehuala the finest braiding is made. The preparation of this fine braid is based on spirals with pieces in the machine that make it the thinnest and most moldable fabric in the area. Its outstanding piece is the Calentano hat, in Zaavia we made a resignification of the hat applied in different pieces in this case they are flat tablecloths of 40 cm in diameter.

It has cowhide applications (bellows, interior, removable handle) made by leather workers from CDMX. It has a handle made of tropical Huanacaxtle wood measuring 14 cm in diameter and embroidered with polyester thread on the palm. The interior is 30% leather and 70% cotton gabardine

Craft technique: Natural fibers
Measurements: 115 x 14 cm x 57 cm.
