The material is palm and is braided with a technique from the region that has been used for more than 30 years, although in Tlapehuala the weave can be made even finer. The preparation of this fine braid is based on spirals on the machine, which makes it the thinnest and most moldable fabric in the area. Its outstanding piece is the Calentano hat, although its application has been redefined in different designs, such as this bag.
It has cowhide inside, and its handle is made of Huanacaxtle tropical wood, 14 cm in diameter and embroidered with polyester thread on the palm. The interior is 30% leather and 70% cotton gabardine.
