San Nicolas, Hidalgo
The "farm animals" cushion cover was made by the artisans of the Social Enterprise of Artisan Women "Embroiderers of Precious Jewelry" in San Nicolás, a community that is considered the cradle of the Tenangos in the state of Hidalgo. The base is made of 100% cotton blanket, and hand embroidered on both sides. It has warm colors on the front and red on the back. Through embroidery they represent real and imaginary animals that are part of the myths and legends of the community.
For care, it is suggested to hand wash with the piece inside out.
