Hand-woven blouse, a jewel of Mexican craftsmanship that was born in San Felipe de los Herreros, Michoacán. Unraveling is worked on the fabric meticulously, lifting the weft or warp threads with the tip of the needle, and pulling them delicately. Once a grid is formed or the threads are discovered, the designs are made with needle and thread in a work known in Mexico as rebordado.
This blouse, the result of a collaboration with Kip Tik for Ensamble Artesano, is much more than a piece of clothing; It is an expression of the artisanal skill and cultural tradition of San Felipe de los Herreros.
