Oxchuc, Chiapas
Hand-woven canvas by the group of artisans called Pakbilná , located in Oxchuc in the state of Chiapas. This Tzeltal community has a tradition of weaving huipiles of three canvases, generally combining three colors, it is no coincidence that Oxchuc means "three knots" in Spanish. These blouses are loaded with geometric shapes, where the artisans abstract elements from the environment to capture them in their fabric through embroidery.
It is suggested to dry clean or hand wash, without scrubbing for care.
