Round puff woven on a waist loom with hand-embroidered motifs, made by indigenous women from the Xalpantzingo community in the northeastern Sierra of Puebla. Women who inherited the tradition of the waist loom, a weaving technique that is an ancestral tradition of the indigenous people. Since they are girls, women begin to use looms, their mothers, aunts, grandmothers, sisters, are the ones who transmit this knowledge. They create authentic works of art that also represent an economic contribution to their homes.
