Single footboard Checks

Tzabalho, Chiapas

Decorative footboard woven by hand on a waist loom by women artisans from the Tzabalhó community in the state of Chiapas. The fabric design is with simple lines that are reflected from the construction of the warp, after which contrasting checks are embroidered in relief to give a different and unique texture.
Care: Hand washing with soap and water is recommended, the ideal is to do this process with the piece upside down.
