Choyo, Chiapas

The Choy Cover is woven on a waist loom and has striped details, a characteristic technique of the municipality of Santiago el Pinar, a community in the highlands of Chiapas. Its design was made by the artisans of the Choy Spolavil group.
This cover has three color versions: beige, yellow and blue.

Care: Wash with neutral soap by hand, or machine wash on a delicate cycle. Dry on the shadow.

NGO impacto

ONGimpacto is an organization committed to the sustainable development of native peoples and the empowerment and autonomy of the native communities of Los Altos de Chiapas, having as guiding principles ethical trade, the gender perspective, social justice and human development and economic. We seek that all the people involved in the system of our organization fully live the Lekil Kuxlejal (the harmony of life) personally and collectively.

We focus our actions on generating economic growth as a means of sustainable local development, promoting ethical value chains and influencing through awareness of responsible consumption and fair trade markets. We work on four sector programs: iTextil, iBarro, iAgrodiversidad and iComunicación, and we support a social enterprise called Juxta Nation, to transform lives and provide economic autonomy to women, their families and their communities.
