Matekit Cape

Wool cape with square pockets, made and embroidered by the hands of great women artisans, such as the Toponymy of the place: The name of Hueyapan (Puebla) comes from the Nahuatl huey which means "big", atl which means "water" and bread which means “on or in”. Together meaning "Over the big river", where the artisans have learned to work with wool and natural dyes that they themselves collect and use to give life and meaning to their garments with all those naturally bright and vibrant colors. They combine wonderfully on natural-colored wool such as the gray of this cape, or brown or ecru, or on self-dyed wool.
