The Kaan bag has been woven with natural henequen on a waist loom by artisans from the community of Granada located in Yucatán. This bag is a special design where the artisans adapt their traditional weaving techniques exploring a new form based on symmetry in contrast to asymmetry. The handles are machine embroidered by artisans from the community of Santo Domingo located in Yucatán with a contemporary design of colored crescents.

Taller Maya is a collective brand of Mexican design made up of a multidisciplinary creative team that collaborates with artisan social enterprises established in the Yucatán Peninsula, working for the promotion and development of the living Mayan culture.
